He’s Always Loved Skin
Well, once again I’m talking about my youngest son and his love for skin. If you missed the other time, look here. They recently finished a unit on skin in his preschool class. He just ate it up. We even took in a recording of the John Lithgow song All You Really Need Is Skin for his class to listen to. So, what he did really shouldn’t have surprised me. But it was still as cute as all get out.

What happened? Well, we were in church and made room on our pew for a teenaged girl to sit with our family. She is African American. During the offertory, he leaned over to her and, patting her hand, said, “Look at all of dat lovely melanin!”

She smiled.
