*Update — Martha is not on in the St. Louis area. Boo. That lets you know how little I watch TV during the daytime. I check out her website all the time and just assumed that it was on here. But, no, we don’t need Martha when we’ve got Rachel Ray. Did y’all hear my sarcasm? At least the recipe will be on the website — maybe even some video if we are fortunate. Frank Stitt on Martha

Frank Stitt on Martha
I don’t know if this heads-up will catch anyone in time, but Frank Stitt, chef and owner of Highland’s Bar and Grill in Birmingham, Alabama, and author of the great cookbook, Southern Table, will be on the Martha show tomorrow, Wednesday, April 11. My sister brought me the cookbook when she recently visited and I love it. I LOVE IT. His is the first cookbook that I have been tempted to cook my way through — like some people do with Julia Child’s cookbooks. His cooking combines some French techniques with Southern ingredients. I can’t wait to see what he’s fixin’ tomorrow.
