I Hope That Your Day

was as lovely as the one that we had here today. I wish that I could bottle up weather like this and unleash it in the winter when it is bleak or during the summer’s oppressive heat. But I can’t.

I don’t think that we can ever have too much beauty around us. Maybe we’re created that way? What do you think?

Progress

is such a lovely thing. I think that is why I like to do short little projects like this. You can SEE the progress that is made. Then the project is DONE. Unlike the rest of life — sometimes.

So, here we have a shot of the t-shirt with some backstitching done around the stencil marks that I made yesterday.

Here is a closer shot.

Now all that remains to be done is the remaining backstitching and cutting out between the stitches.

It’s another t-shirt project, much like the one that I did last. This one has a larger stencil. I’m going to reverse applique with a more vibrant rosy pink and use a corresponding pink thread for the backstitch. But, don’t worry, I’ll show pics of the progress, just in case you are feeling crafty, yourself.

I hope that y’all are having a good day. I am. The weather is beautiful and warm. I had forgotten what 50 degrees felt like, I think. Now I’m remembering and I never want it to go away again. Stay warm weather, pretty please?

What are you doing today? I’ve no plans except to take J for a special treat and to make some sort of wild dessert with E. He has dreamed up something involving a popsicle stick, strawberries, chocolate and whipped cream. I’ll let you know how it turns out. You never know, it might be great. That buster. He lost his other top chopper last week.

Meanwhile, J sang L.O.V.E. again for me the other day and I wanted to share it with y’all.
