His name is Elvis Perkins and his most recent album is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elvisperkinsindearland.com\/\">Elvis Perkins in Dearland<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite tracks is called <i>Doomsday<\/i>. In it, the  percussionist bangs this big old drum through most of the song.  Kind of reminds me of being a majorette in the band in high school.  Wait&#8230;did I just admit that in public?  Oh well.
