{"id":4930,"date":"2008-06-20T23:17:38","date_gmt":"2008-06-20T23:17:38","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2017-04-04T14:58:34","modified_gmt":"2017-04-04T14:58:34","slug":"","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.annbarlow.com\/?p=4930","title":{"rendered":"Something Interesting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Something Interesting<\/b><br \/>\nI just finished reading <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Mayor_of_Casterbridge\">The Mayor of Casterbridge<\/a>.  This is the first time I&#8217;ve read a novel by Thomas Hardy.  It was a fine novel, but I think that I&#8217;ve had enough depressing, darkly fascinating, and tragic reading lately.  <\/p>\n<p>The reason that I&#8217;m bringing up the novel is really probably just a curious coincidence.  In chapter 20, just a few paragraphs from the beginning, Hardy uses 2 words in a paragraph that are very interesting, to me at least.  What are these two words?  The words are: dumbledores and hagrid.  I kid you not.  And I&#8217;m sure that numerous Rowling fans have noticed this before me.  Like I said, I thought it was interesting.<\/p>\n<p>Enough with depressing books&#8230;..on to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pgwodehousebooks.com\/\">P.G.
