I&#8217;m adding it to my dessert menu for Thanksgiving this year. (Don&#8217;t worry, Jon, I&#8217;ll make something chocolate for you! :))\r\n\r\nPumpkin Crisp\r\n\r\n1 (15-oz.) can pumpkin\r\n1 cup evaporated milk\r\n1 cup sugar\r\n1 teaspoon vanilla extract\r\n1\/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon\r\n1 (18.25-oz.) package butter-flavored yellow cake mix\r\n1 cup chopped pecans\r\n1 cup butter, melted\r\n\r\nStir together first 5 ingredients.  Pour into a lightly oiled 13X9-inch baking dish.  Sprinkle cake mix evenly over pumpkin mixture; sprinkle evenly with pecans.  Drizzle butter evenly over pecans.\r\n\r\nBake at 350 degrees for about an hour or until golden brown.  Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before serving.  Serve warm or at room temperature with whipped cream, if desired.
