Okay, so my guy didn’t win American Idol. He should have won, he is the better singer and performer, but he didn’t. I really didn’t think that he would win — hoped but didn’t expect it. I don’t know how great it would be to win AI as opposed to coming in 2nd. I think that, in the end, it might be better to be second. You end up getting the same amount of media coverage, but aren’t locked into the record deal at the end and could probably negotiate to get a better deal for yourself.
