Similarly, we also say &#8220;wranks&#8221; instead of &#8220;wrinks&#8221; (short for wrinkles) but that&#8217;s another story for another day.<\/p>\n<p>Back to the subject at hand: slaw.<\/p>\n<p>Jon and I absolutely love it.  <\/p>\n<p>I make lots of different kinds, but lately this is the one that I&#8217;ve been making.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s good.  <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s PANK.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.annbarlow.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/IMG_3747-0.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.annbarlow.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/IMG_3747-0.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3747-0.JPG\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Half a red cabbage;  cored and sliced thinly<br \/>\n&#8211; A quarter of a cup pickled Pepperocini pepper slices<br \/>\n&#8211; Half of a thinly sliced red or yellow onion<br \/>\n&#8211;  2 tablespoons mayonnaise<br \/>\n&#8211; two glugs red wine vinegar<br \/>\n&#8211; four gulgs extra-virgin olive oil<br \/>\n&#8211; juice of a lime, optional<br \/>\n&#8211; salt-and-pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n<p>Thinly slice cabbage and onions.  <\/p>\n<p>In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, olive oil, and salt and pepper, and optional lime juice.  Whisk until combined.
