Later, we&#8217;re having ribs and braised cabbage and blood oranges and black-eyed peas.  We have some time to burn, so, Eli and I are on a walk right now. He is in a T-shirt and shorts  &#8212; on the first day of January. Mississippi is oddly warm right now.  Or maybe it&#8217;s typical, I guess I need a few more years before I know what is odd and what is not.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.annbarlow.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/20140101-152609.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.annbarlow.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/20140101-152609.jpg\" alt=\"20140101-152609.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here are some paper whites that I saw is a neighbor&#8217;s yard.  It&#8217;s funny how hardy some delicate things can be.<\/p>\n<p>Okay my tour guide\/walking partner is demanding my full attention. We have a wagon to pull and Nutella sandwiches to eat.
