I didn&#8217;t, until I kind of stumbled across her a few weeks ago.  Later, I was telling some of our friends about her when one of the guys there said that he had recently caught a episode of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wnet\/americanmasters\/episodes\/sister-rosetta-tharpe\/film-the-godmother-of-rock-roll\/2516\/\">American Masters<\/a> that was all about her. <\/p>\n<p>How great is that?<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s the Godmother of Rock and Roll, y&#8217;all.
