{"id":1775,"date":"2012-08-17T14:53:45","date_gmt":"2012-08-17T14:53:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.annbarlow.com\/?p=1775"},"modified":"2012-08-17T14:53:45","modified_gmt":"2012-08-17T14:53:45","slug":"music-for-friday-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.annbarlow.com\/?p=1775","title":{"rendered":"Music for Friday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It seems cruel to talk about rain with all of the drought in this country right now. \u00a0Even here, in Mississippi, we&#8217;re still 8 inches or so behind the yearly average. \u00a0But that&#8217;s nothing compared to the rest of the country. \u00a0Still though, it seems like it has rained like every other day since we moved here. \u00a0Monsoons. \u00a0Thunder so powerful that it rattles the dishes in the kitchen. \u00a0A deluge so noisy that it woke me at 4:45 this morning. \u00a0I can&#8217;t even remember the last time weather woke me from sleep.
