{"id":1120,"date":"2011-01-02T16:09:00","date_gmt":"2011-01-02T16:09:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2011-07-16T11:17:28","modified_gmt":"2011-07-16T11:17:28","slug":"","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.annbarlow.com\/?p=1120","title":{"rendered":"Liking a Song About a Paranoid, Homicidal Gardner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Liking a Song About a Paranoid, Homicidal Gardner<\/b><br \/>\nwasn&#8217;t what I was expecting.<\/p>\n<p>A few months ago, I got some free mp3s from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hearya.com\/\">HearYa<\/a>.  Among the singers was a fellow known as the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Tallest_Man_on_Earth\">Tallest Man on Earth<\/a>.  His songs stuck out to me of all of the songs that I got &#8212; not because I loved them but because his voice irritated me.  In fact, during carpool one morning, I told my second son something like, &#8220;Hey, listen to this guy&#8230;his voice will drive you crazy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So, of course, it makes total sense that I love him now.<\/p>\n<p>If I had to place this music I&#8217;d say Dylan-esque but with his own take.  I love the guitar.  I love the poetic lyrics that I don&#8217;t completely understand.
