I just love this guy. His name is Elvis Perkins and his latest album is calledElvis Perkins in Dearland. The library bought it after I asked them to…I have such a nice library.

One of my favorite songs on the album is Doomsday. I totally love the big old drum that his percussionist bangs all the way through the song. It reminds me of being a majorette in the band in high school. Oh, wait, did I just admit that in public? Oh well. Maybe I’ll put a picture up here someday and prove it to y’all. Or maybe not. Moving on…
