To Go With Your Friday Beverage
Spicy Pecans
2 T butter, melted
2 1/2 t. hot pepper sauce
1 t. chili powder
1/2 t. garlic salt
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
2 cups pecan halves
Oven at 200. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except pecans. Stir well. Add the pecans and toss to coat. Spread them on the aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Cool. Enjoy.
These are also good on salads, mixed with other nuts, or chopped up and put in your favorite pimento and cheese recipe.

Sounds yummy, but us wimps would have to lower the spice level just a bit.

Jennifer, they are really not spicy — especially if you are using them in a salad or something.
