Man, That’s Exciting

Man, That’s Exciting
So tonight, I was brushing my C’s teeth. When he was done, I told him to spit out his water, and he complied by getting it everywhere except the drain. Little boys, their aim with everything is terrible, and I think that my boys, at least, find that this is interesting and sort of cool. At 8 o’clock in the evening, however, I don’t think that it is so cool. So, I said in frustration, “Ahh, I’m going to lose my ever-loving mind!” He looked up at me, totally enthralled, and actually clapped his hands a little when he said, “Ooooo, are we going to see your brains?!”

  1. Mom, I aim for the drain.!!!!!

  2. The previous post was from N who is my responsible, neat and motivated son. He’s the odd man out.

  3. You need to collect these and at the end of the year have a vote for best quip from a Barlow child. Even though it is only January, I’d put odds on this one as a winner.

  4. That’s a great idea, Mark. Thanks!

  5. You’ve got to love those great one liners when you really think you’re going to loose it! They bring us back to a better reality.
You should cook up some ramen noodles and hook them around your ear and tell your boys it’s finally happen, you’ve lost you ever-lovin’ mind!
