The question is, are these specs too hipster? My 9th grader says, “yes”.
Please advise, y’all. What do you think?
It isn’t that I don’t like hipster, please understand, it is just that trying to pull that look off at my age, with four children, just seems a tad ridiculous.
All right. Over and out.
And, happy Friday night!

I love the glasses! Miss y’all.

We miss y’all, too, Annie!
Thanks for the vote for my glasses. So far, they are winning (being voted not too hipster) by me, you, and Jon. 🙂

I love them Annie! And I got excited about the instagram possibilities…I must know your username :). I love it, it’s more fun to me than fb. I hope all’s well, it should be since I saw yall were eating at Little Dewey’s the other day, or at least Jon was. I wanted to be sitting at the table with yall when I saw his pic on fb! And I meant to email you and get your king cake recipe, but time got away. Yours looked good though (saw that on fb too 😉 ). Well hope yall have a good weekend, the sun is trying to come out in Oxford today.
ps. can I get your address when you have time

The glasses look good.
I have the same dilemma with some Converse shoes I bought. Most votes were that I should keep them, and I did, but I still wonder about it.

Hey George! Thanks for your vote for my glasses. I’ll inform Nathan that you say that they are okay. Maybe that will sway him. 🙂
I think that I officially realized my age when I wanted my sunglasses to be decidedly different from all of the teenaged lifeguards at the pool.
Perhaps that is what comes from being nearly forty. Oh well.

Annie! Have I seen your haircut yet? I love it!! It’s adorable! I remember you talked about getting it cut like Mary Crawley (can’t think of her real name at the moment!), but I don’t remember seeing it. Or maybe I just forgot. Anyway, your haircut is adorable! And I like the glasses too! You always have the best taste- you should just trust it 🙂

Thanks Abby! After all of the great comments I’m going to quit worrying about these glasses and just wear them….a must since I’m growing ever more sight-impaired as the years roll on. 🙂 Thanks for saying that about my haircut! It has been so easy….I think that I’m going a little shorter and doing the Mary Crawley even more next time. We shall see.

You can work it, Girl.
